Hey Anita,
Glad to see you have a website/social network. Tell you husband (my class of 1984 classmate) that I said hello. I see him all the time on The Big KE website. Much blessing and success to you and your enterprise.

I've found that for me, it's my only guaranteed way to achieve a little "me" time and "me" time makes me a much better mom and wife.

Can you share with others a good parenting book you've read?
I read a bunch that I liked this summer. Look for them in the KFF Bookstore. I liked, "Living Simply with Children," which talks about how to focus on the important things and to abandon our nation's consumerism mentalitiy; "Bringing Up GEEKS;" which is fantastic and helps us raise children who are Genuinely Empowered and Enthusiastic Kids; and "Young Bucks," which talks about nurturing entrepreneurship in children.

I Cried in the Voting Booth Today

I cried in the voting booth today. I wasn’t sad. I wasn’t mad or upset. It’s just that when I stepped into the booth and pulled out my ballot, my eyes scrolled down to see an unlikely name for a presidential candidate.

I carefully aligned my pen as to be certain to avoid a… Continue
